    Parrish Community Performing Arts Center on the campus of Parrish Community High School. If you need details on specific seating accommodations or arranging accessibility support please contact the box office at 941-926-7677. Parrish Community High School's auditorium is fully ADA accessible and features a dedicated exterior entrance separate from the rest of the campus for easy public access during evening events.

    The Sarasota Opera House is dedicated to accessibility, with features tailored for guests with mobility and hearing restrictions:Mobility: Elevator service is provided to all levels. The William E. Schmidt Opera Theater offers wheelchair-accessible seating in the orchestra level. Due to the historic nature of the building, second-floor seating is not wheelchair accessible.Restrooms: Accessible facilities are available in all restrooms, along with a family restroom on the first floor near the ticket kiosk.Hearing: The theater is equipped with the Listen FM assistive listening system.Programs: Braille programs can be ordered one month in advance.Assistance: For wheelchair seating or special requests, contact the Box Office at 941-366-8450 ext. 1

    Virtual Tours: A 360° virtual tour is available to explore the theater from home.Opera Lovers Weeks: Held in March 2026, these immersive sessions offer the chance to see four world-class operas in three days.Centennial Celebration: The 2026 season marks the 100th anniversary of the theater.Young Voices: The Sarasota Youth Opera often showcases 80-100 participants in age-appropriate productions.Outdoor Immersion: "Opera at the Bay" offers free, fully filmed performances on a large LED screen in the park

    Parking

    The Sarasota Opera House (61 N Pineapple Ave) offers convenient parking at the Palm Avenue Garage directly behind the venue, with paid valet parking available 1 hour and 15 minutes before shows. The garage is free on Sundays and costs $2-$5 for most attendees, providing an easy, close option to the downtown
