Robyn Makes the Cover of West Coast Woman
Bring your entire family and join us at Patriot Plaza on June 14th for an evening of patriotic fun!
“Celebrating the Stars and Stripes” is FREE and open to the general public on a first-come, first-seated basis. While covered, Patriot Plaza offers only concrete bench seating for up to 1000 people. You are invited to bring lawn chairs and/or seat cushions. Because inclement weather may require a last-minute cancellation of the ceremony, attendees should log-on to www.starsandstripescelebration.com for weather advisories prior to departing for Patriot Plaza.
The Sarasota National Cemetery is located on State Route 72 (Clark Road) approximately three miles east of 175. On-site parking at the cemetery is limited so plan to arrive early. Shuttle bus transportation will be provided from an off-site parking area located at the Suncoast Community Church (intersection of Hawkins and Clark Roads).
Out of respect for Old Glory, please take soiled, torn, faded or unserviceable flags to one of the 32 veteran organizations in Manatee and Sarasota Counties for a proper retirement.
